FastHEIC is built on a Local-First architecture. Unlike the vast majority of online converters, we do not transmit your photos to a remote server.

  • ✓Processing: All image decoding and encoding happens inside your browser's sandboxed memory (RAM) using WebAssembly (WASM).
  • ✓Storage: Your original and converted files are never stored on our hard drives, cloud databases, or logs.
  • ✓Session: As soon as you refresh or close the browser tab, all file data is permanently wiped from your device's temporary memory.

3. Information We Collect

Personal Data

We do not require account registration, names, email addresses, or phone numbers. You can use all our tools with 100% anonymity.

Log Data

Like most websites, our hosting servers automatically collect standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of your visit. This is used solely for security monitoring, analytics, and to prevent DDoS attacks. This data is not linked to any image data (since we don't see your images).
